I had a pretty good day at work yesterday...I have to set the tables for dinner and I got out there early and got er done. I do not enjoy setting tables, it takes about an hour to do... I think I am happier these days, hey money bought me a little bit of happiness..42 inches worth (haha) but seriously a month ago I would watch the gas tank praying I just made it where I had to go and now I can breathe and relax. We paid back hubbys boss and he was so thankful, he needed the money to make a bill. I came home last night about 7 or so and by 9:30 I was outtttttt. I was so tired. I took my daughter to K-Mart to buy a spacific toy she wanted and hit a huge clothing sale..I got her some pants, a shirt and a dress for 13 dollars.. sure glad I had the money.

I have always said that I have a good marriage...only minor things I would change. We have been through a lot in 13 years. Everything we could fight about or disagree on we have done it and we made it..We are very happy and in love. The only thing I would do different is maybe somehow have/save more money. We don't really fight about money.. its just...we have 50 dollars on monday and need gas, food and maybe a bill.... it seems like we are always a little short. (that was just an example, not true today)

Hubby gets paid at the end of every day he works, sometimes...if we have money he may let it slide till the next day. Becouse he is busy, or the boss is not around. Like now we got our income taxes friday and hubby made $50, he told his boss, just pay me monday. It's just my hubby and his boss, so they work it out ok. Its a good job...he goes in when he wants, within reason and can take my daughter if necessary...and can leave to pick her up from school or whatever.

Life is good for us..we are happy, I want new furnature, and a well behaved child, but really I would not change much,

Hey, Buffy, "You're making it" and that's more than a lot of folks can say in this time of high gas prices & soaring food costs. It's very difficult for young families to get ahead right now and I think many of them sturggle. "Security" is what people are longing for and that's hard to find. So its just "day by day by day", but that's really what life is all about, anyway, isn't it? New furniture would be good, but a "well-behaved" child would be GREAT!! All parents share that same wish!! Figure that one out and let the rest of us know how you did it!!

I think that you're managing very well in spite of all the difficulties. Today's world is even harder to live in, I think. Keep picturing that furniture in your mind! See what it looks like and where it will go in your house. It's a positive thought that will undoubtedly attract other positive thoughts, including furniture. The only rule is that you must never doubt that you will have it. You will have it. Your Greater Mind will see to it in ways that you've never thought about. Never stop believing, and all best to you!

I think that it's great that you and your husband have stuck by each other during the tough times---I believe that's the key to a good relationship! If you just stick together, you can overcome just about anything! A lot of people just give up without even trying and that's so sad....

Congrats on finally getting your money in!! I know it seemed like it was never going to get there!!

we have been through eviction, poor times, death (his mother, his best friend, my grandmother, my aunt, and two still born babys by other family members) unemployment, a surprise pregnancy, crappy jobs-working hours, no car, bad cars, cats-cat funerals, living with family fights and normal day to day junk. If we can survive that then we can survive anything. we will be fine...

P.S. hubbys ex best friend riped us off for $350 and that started the downfall at our last house...
