why is EVERYTHING on the planet getting more expensive, but my pay seemsto stay the same or go down? It seems like many fast food resteraunts do not have 99 cent value menus any more. Mc Donalds is still the cheepest fast fod place to eat, with Wendys a close second. But, how many times can you eat at either before ya get sick of them? Today, you spend a minimum of 6 dollars a person eating out. When we try to go cheep, sometimes we skip the fries or soda....but if all my husband gets is a sandwich, he wants a large or a double. He likes Burger Kings Double stacker, but its 6 dollars JUST THE SANDWICH!!! My daughter and I eat out very seldom. We usually get hubby something and we will eat from home. Heck, even milk and eggs are expensive. $4.50-$5.00 for milk? We buy our milk at Walgreens, it has never been over 4 dollars, my last gallon was 3.85 and gasssssssss,don't get me started.

I decided to go part time at work...Now hubbys job is slow. I am getting about 20 hours a week...Do I wait it out? Do I ask for more hours, I have no clue what to do. I do like my schedule, when she does not mess with it. hhhmmmhhhmmm what to do.?

Saturday I worked with my manager (can't make a schedule) C. I actually enjoyed working with her. I spoke to her about my paid vacation, days off and the such. I do not really hate her...honestly. I just get so frustrated about the schedule and such. As of now I have off M_T_W and go in Thurs at 3:30. sooooo it's not all bad. My daughter got her spring pictures made..and they were good!!!!!!!!! Too bad I was poor and could not aford many. We are doing ok, made it through another week. My mom is getting my daughter an Easter dress, soooo I am going to save for something else like her basket, or I need a hair dryer/curling iron. I can not decide.

I told my husband that I was worrierd about money and the fact that I am kind of part time in my job. When I requested to go part time, My husband was making about $400 a week. Now he is making 150-200 a week. He does make good. $25 for two to three hours of work...thats above min. wage. When he makes service calls he brings home $25 per hour, sometimes more if he travels so far from the shop. My point is, I hope I did not make a mistake. I think I am going to wait this out for another week or so before I give in and say it was a mistake. Hubby told me, things are bound to pick up soon, give it some more time. Well, I will. Living and paying bills is hard. Survival is hard. Its hard on the working class poor. I wish I had saved money when I was younger. My husband told me not to worry, it is easier said than done. I tell myself that we will be ok, but I still worry. my next check will have about 40-42 hours on it. that may be $250 if I am lucky. after rent I will have $100 to spend on whatever. $100 lasts five minutes with me gas--$30-$40 smokes--$10-$25 food--minimum $40...I'm broke. (food includes cat food and cat liter and toiletries). SUXXXXX I buy dollar cat liter, two dolar cat food and 1.15 tp. I am cheap!!

ok enough bitching!!! I have $11 saved twords the $18 dollar Easter dress. I'll get it this upcomming week. I may even settle for a cheaper Easter basket, if need be. I'm keeping my eyes on the prize.

After taking my rent money and one other bill out at an atm..I had 94 dollars. I had to put gas in my car, get smokes, food, etc with that. After gas I had about 66 dollars...well, I got some things accomplished, but not as much as I would have liked. I got my daughter and my husband the things they asked for/needed. I just hope to have five dollars to spend at Salvation Army, if I go later. I decided to save up for the bills and pay as many as I can all at once. I may go tomorrow or Friday...it depends on how much money I can save. The one bill I took the money out for is about 5-10 dollars short. Hey, the cats have to eat too. My checks around christmas were 400 dollars or so. More hours and more paid holidays. Now, there are no paid holidays and less hours. I may use some vacation days next pay period to get more money. I do not exactly know how many days I have left...I used one so far. I am determined to get my daughter an Easter dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hubbys job is going...He has not made much money last week or this. Lots of computers have been brought in, but they are non fixable, or cheeper to replace. I hope it turns around soon. I hope taking less hours at work was not a mistake. He came home last night and said he is busting his buttttt but there is little to no money to be had.

My daughter lost a tooth and last night I did not tuck her in bed, I was already asleep sooooooo. the tooth fairy came in the morning, she heard me and knows I have her tooth. OOOOOPPPPPSSSSS SORRRRRYYY it was an accident. I gave her a dollar. The fantasy is over.

I changed my cat liter this morning and as soon as I did all 5 cats lined up to mess it up. now it needs to be changed again. Most days I just scoop it out so they were glad that I changed it all.

When I feed my cats they all swarm to be the first to eat. One spoiled cat has to be fed seperate. Even with two bowls they still take up lots of space. So I feed Ace seperately. Ace is really the only one who has even shown any interest of eating alone.

I hate it when they all swarm to me and I go to step and just as I step the cat moves and I step on one. They are so good at that.

I have always lived with a cat, even before I was married I had cats. I can not imagine a home without a cat or two. My husband says when these cats go, NO MORE!!!!!!!!!!
