I cleaned house all day yesterday, I thought today would be a slow day...oh no. There is just me, my husband, child and 5 cats. I thought how messy can we be in a number of hours. VERY. I feel so old, I am always tired. Most of my day is putting things in their place. Anyway, I am not just relaxing today...Hubby made 130 dollars yesterday and with my paycheck today we have all the months bills paid. we have about two weeks untill we need to start saving and thinking about bills...ok we should save daily, butttttt...we have skrimped the last couple of days but its all done..for now. I am going to watch my design shows and dream for now, then its back to cleaning soon later...

ok I made fun of Scott Baio in my last Television blog. I need to apologize..I loved Charles in Charge.."A new boy in the neighborhood, lives downstairs and its understood, he's thewre just to take goog care of me.....Charles in charge of our days and our nights....etc" Yes I knew that from memory, I'm such a geek. There are so many shows to commenton and not enough time.. I am now getting into Home design shows. I get all excited about all of the ideas, but alas I have no money or supplies. Hey, I used to watch talk and game shows, now its oldies and home decorating shows. The Price is Right has lost its uuummmppphhh since Bob Barker retired. I am not a jeopardy or Millionare fan either. How do they pick the people to be on these design shows?? who pays the bill?? what if the design is hated by the home owner?? Can I go on one show till each room is made over?? ooohhh questions.

I can remember when tv land first started, I really enjoyed it. They played such shows as Car 54 where are you, Father Knows best, Laugh In, even Burns and Allen. I watched many of those reruns for the first time...Now they play all kinds of shows, both older and newer. I prefer the 60's through mid 80's shows. Some shows were great the first time around but suck now. I can not watch reeruns of Tool Time, Rosane, Just Shoot Me or Cheers. sorry. Ok I thought Just Shoot Me was stupid the first time around.I didn't care for many of the 90's shows either...Friends...I did not care who did what, i did not run home to watch it... Now Voyager...I am a treckie...I like the strong female officers...but thats another blog. Anyway, My Fav. 80'sshow was Alice, kiss my grits..... I rarely keep up with any of the new shows...I work some nights and can't get into them. I do not like many reality shows either.... Dating shows bore me. I like the apprentice..especially since they are doing celebrities. It seems like anyone and everyone has some kind of reality show, many are getting stupid. Scott Baio..45 and pregnant? who cares...Nobody cared when i was pregnant, I didn't have my own show...why should he?? Some of these shows are just an attempt for has bens to get back in the spot light. whats next,cooking with mrs. Garrett...I can see it now.

ever notice how more and more old shows are comming back on tv. I have seen Andy Grifith, Mash and I love Lucy on tv. Now they are showing 80's shows like Alice, Different Strokes, Facts of Life. etc. I like Mamas Family too. They even have channels devoted to older shows..Tv land, ion, Halmark, The N. Even Nick at Night. Heck Fresh Prince is an older show, its about 10 or so years old. I do not like all older shows tho..I never was a Beverly Hillbillies or Green Acres fan. I can remember as a child watching Alice, The Jeffersons and One day at a time on Saturday night..Years later it was Golden Girls. Saturday used to be the night to watch tv. Now its Thurs, or Tues. Your lucky if you find a good movie on Saturday night. I usually don't recommend things, but ion has been great. I love Alice, and it has Drew Carey. Tv was a family event when I was a child, we had fun, ate popcorn and snuggled in a blanket. Today its mostly background noise. I used to keep up with My Name is Earl, becouse of my job and just loosing interest, I havn't seen it in a while...I do not keep up with many shows any more. Ok,I have seen every Leave it to beaver..something about a moral in every show gets me.

cleaning my house dosen't take too long..it takes minutes to make up beds, vacuum and dust. The time consuming thing is picking up after the child, husband and cats...After 10 am the child is at school, hubby is off to work and all the cats are asleep. SOO, I can really clean the house. Picking up trash, things in the wrong place and dirty clothes takes time. I love my family and do not mind all the housework I do, its just much sometimes. My husband is a packrat and my daughter kinda is too. So, sometimes what I see as a mess is just stuff. Perhaps in the wrong spot. I like a clean house, cleaner than most. I keep up with laundry and dishes. I clean the litterbox every day etc. I will never have a maid, why pay someone to do the things I can and will do? I like my alone time and just the time to be one with my home. Anyway, I am at home today cleaning my house, I am having a good day.
